In nature, the growth patterns of lotus roots and lotus flowers are closely linked, and the growth of lotus roots promotes the blooming of lotus flowers. Therefore, I want to use these two to bring out the cycle of life and death in nature, a law that is contrary to reality. Lotus flowers and lotus roots are the main ingredients, with the first lotus buds and unopened lotus leaves surrounding the lotus roots that are cut for food. The second picture shows a half-opened lotus flower surrounded by a lotus root and lotus leaves that are cut in half. The surrounding objects rotate clockwise, representing the passage of time. The third photo shows a mature, whole lotus root surrounded by fully bloomed lotus flowers and lotus leaves. The last and fourth picture shows withered lotus flowers surrounded by newly grown lotus roots and withered lotus leaves. The changes in the lotus leaves in the four pictures express the passage of time, while the lotus flowers and lotus roots are opposites, one life and one death.
