The new archaeological discoveries at the Sanxingdui site in Sichuan are a major archaeological project in China. The excavation of the Sanxingdui site has revealed a highly developed ancient Ming culture in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River, especially in the Chengdu Plain, which is the origin of this design.

The works are inspired by flowers and floral patterns and incorporate traditional cultural elements such as paper-cutting, embroidery and Huadian makeup, as well as pop art colours, to create a variety of modern and visually striking patterns.
