While reflecting on the characteristics of the radical of grass and plants, I began to consider characters related to foods we consume. This led me to think about '萵', which is something we commonly eat.
In developing the pattern, I examined various photos of '萵' and noted its characteristic triangular and sharp shapes. This inspired me to design graphical images that embody these features for the pattern. I chose a blue monochrome palette as the primary color, incorporating gradients to illustrate shadows and layers, enhancing the visual depth of the design.
For the layout of the pattern, I utilized a circular and reflective approach to depict '萵'. This method effectively conveys a sense of spreading out and growth, suggesting a powerful and visually captivating presence. The combination of these elements allows the pattern not only to celebrate the unique forms of '萵' but also to evoke a sense of dynamism and vitality. By merging these ideas, I aim to create a striking visual representation that highlights the relationship between nature and the foods we enjoy in our daily lives.
